Hosted by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University English Language Centre, The 3rd Writing Roundtable will bring together creative writers, writing teachers, and practitioners for a discussion on how the academic and creative literacy of novice writers and tertiary students could be supported across the curriculum and through different genres. The Writing Roundtable will enable participants to delve deeper and unleash creative forces within writing.
Is there a story lurking somewhere in your mind awaiting its rendering in the printer's ink? Are you considering bringing creative practices into your writing workshops and lessons? The Writing Roundtable at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University aspires once again to assemble the creative souls like yours for an exploration of creative and academic aspects of writing across the curriculum. You are invited to join us and share your insights in an informal setting on the (re)discovery of creativity in writing.

The story of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University can be traced back to the founding of the Government Trade School in 1937. Situated in Wood Road, Wanchai, the School was the first publicly funded, post-secondary technical institution in Hong Kong. Under Mr G.
